So what should you spend on psychometric profiling? And how much is too much? You need to revisit why you are considering psychometrics in the first place. Do you have a staff turnover problem? Are you worried about making a wrong appointment? Are you worried about how a new person will fit in to your existing team?
What are you investing in recruiting for this particular job? Let's say your direct agency fees are £5,000 and the indirect costs of the time you take to select an agency, select a long list, select a short list, then interview everyone. Shall we say 5 Days at £200 per day? The reality is that you will spend around £10k recruiting a junior manager, so £500 isn't much in the great scheme of things, especially if it helps you make the right decision first time. For the real pain of recruitment is having to repeat the process and waste several months with the wrong person. The cost of this could be tens of thousands of pounds.
To skimp on something as low cost as psychometric profiling is a bit like buying a new car and telling them not to give you a spare tyre as you want to save the £100. Do I have a vested interest in telling you this? Of course I do. But despite this I think you can see the sense of it.
PeopleMaps clearly displays it's pricing for all to see online. I'm not sure anyone else does.
